ViewCast Adds Adobe(R) Flash(R) Live Media Encoding Option

Now Available With Niagara(R) Pro and Niagara GoStream(TM) Plus

PLANO, Texas - September 7, 2007 - ViewCast Corporation (OTCBB: VCST), a leading global provider of high-quality audio and video encoding communication products, today announced an optional update to its Niagara® Pro and Niagara GoStream(TM) Plus premium encoding platforms that adds the ability to encode real-time video streams in Adobe® Flash® Live format. The new update will give companies the ability to reach the broad and rapidly growing audience of Internet users who prefer Flash Live for viewing streamed video.

The Flash Live option joins other industry-standard codecs, including MPEG-4, H.263, Windows Media®, and RealNetworks®, currently shipping with the Niagara SCX® encoder control and management software suite. Users can select any combination of these popular formats and control streaming systems throughout an enterprise or over the Internet with a single user interface. ViewCast Niagara appliances equipped with Flash Live are an optimal fit with the leading content delivery networks that now support the latest Flash Live capabilities.

The Niagara Pro and Niagara GoStream Plus encoders are designed for traditional and non-traditional broadcasters who wish to stream live video over the Internet to reach a new audience, or to add a streaming video channel to an existing Web site. The Flash Live option will broaden the target audience base and add a rich multimedia experience for a variety of content such as breaking news, sports action, distance learning programs, government open meetings, sales presentations, and educational seminars.

Availability
Niagara® Go-Stream Plus™ and Niagara Pro are exclusively distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Lako Pro, a division of Lako Pacific Pty Ltd. Both encoding appliances are due to ship with the Flash Live option included in SCX Pro late October 2007.
